Calculate a cost floor before comparing competitors

Start with the time and direct product used for a normal appointment, then allocate travel, setup, cleaning, admin, payment fees, insurance, equipment replacement, training, taxes, and unpaid gaps. Competitor prices cannot tell you whether your own service is sustainable.

Define what every service includes

State the base length, shape, colour allowance, nail-art level, removal, repairs, and travel radius. Clear boundaries make prices easier to explain and prevent the service from expanding silently.

Price travel consistently

Choose a simple rule based on a defined service area, distance band, or minimum booking value. Publish the rule before checkout and confirm unusual parking, toll, or access costs before accepting a deposit.

Review actual appointment data

Compare estimated and actual duration, product use, travel, rework, and no-show loss by service. Adjust the menu when the evidence changes instead of applying arbitrary increases across every treatment.
