Pack the kit by clean, service, and used-item zones
A repeatable packing order reduces forgotten items and accidental cross-contact. Keep processed implements protected, liquids upright, disposables dry, and used items contained separately for transport.
- Clean tools and fresh disposables
- Treatment products and labelled liquids
- Lighting, lamp, cables, and protected extension equipment
- Surface barriers, waste bags, and used-tool containers
- Client records, payment method, and aftercare materials
Confirm the site before travel
Ask about stairs, parking, pets, table dimensions, chair support, outlet access, ventilation, and anyone else using the space. Decline setups that cannot support safe positioning or equipment use.
Use the same setup sequence every time
Clean hands, assess the surface, place protection, establish clean and used zones, position lighting, route cables safely, and only then open protected tools. A checklist makes this sequence teachable and auditable.
Contain first, process later
Separate waste, single-use items, laundry, and reusable implements before leaving. Follow product labels and local infection-control requirements for cleaning, disinfection, storage, and waste handling.
