What a clean mobile setup should show
The work surface should be cleanable, organized, and separated into clean and used-item zones. The technician should arrive with hand-hygiene supplies, covered clean tools, fresh disposables, and a way to contain used items for transport.
Single-use and reusable items are handled differently
Porous items that cannot be properly cleaned are commonly intended for one client or one use. Reusable implements need cleaning and an appropriate disinfection process between clients. Exact public-health rules differ by location, so technicians should follow their local authority's requirements.
Pause when something does not look right
Do not continue over broken skin, unexplained swelling, drainage, or a suspected infection. Also pause if a tool appears visibly soiled, a disposable item looks reused, or the technician cannot explain how implements were processed.
Clients also protect the workspace
Provide a clear surface, keep pets away, wash hands when asked, and disclose cuts or reactions. Good hygiene is a shared setup, but tool processing and safe service decisions remain the technician's responsibility.
